Zero Waste Dish Soap – Savon de Marseille Cube 300g
I have been hunting for a zero waste alternative to plastic bottles of dish soap for a long time. It wasn’t until I asked in the Tiny Yellow Bungalow Facebook group that I found the perfect zero waste dish soap solution – Savon de Marseille! This is a large cube of olive oil soap that you scrub your dish scrubber on directly and then use the lathered soap for washing your dishes. It’s genius! Authentic Marseille soap made using traditional methods inherited through the centuries. This soap contains 72% olive oil. Weight: 300 grams.

Ingredients 300g Olive Oil Cube:Â sodium olivate, aqua (water), sodium cocoate, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide.
This soap is vegan and cruelty free!!
It has no added scents, colors, or preservatives.
The traditional Savons de Marseille that we sell comes exclusively from a soap maker that is a member of the union of the professionals of Savon de Marseille, the products are therefore labelled “Savon de Marseille”.
Make sure to let your soap cub dry out between uses to help it last longer.
This soap is wonderful for hand washing dishes but it also has simple ingredients that would be completely safe for body and face wash!

Works great! I have mine in a small pottery bowl by my sink and it just needs a little water from the brush to lather. It last forever also. Love saving quite a few more plastic bottles with just one of these large blocks.

Absloutely stoked to be able to buy this from a small, local, and sustainably oriented shop. I have been using this soap for years – ever since I found out it gets along great with my sensitive skin and I can also use it around the house – but have been buying it from a big box store. This soap makes a great lather that cleans both dishes and you! I find the sent to be subtle, and it takes a little bit of practice to learn how to use it for household cleaning, but don’t consider those downsides.
