Zero Waste Dish Soap – Large Savon de Marseille Cube 600g
I have been hunting for a zero waste alternative to plastic bottles of dish soap for a long time. It wasn’t until I asked in the Tiny Yellow Bungalow Facebook group that I found the perfect zero waste dish soap solution – Savon de Marseille! You can scrub your dish scrubber directly on the soap cube and then use the lathered soap for washing your dishes. It’s genius! Authentic Marseille soap made using traditional methods inherited through the centuries. Weight: 600 grams.
Although we have this soap listed as plastic free dish soap, it has a variety of uses. To learn more, check out this post 11 Ways to Use Marseille Soap.
Ingredients in 600g Olive Oil Cube: sodium olivate, aqua, sodium cocoate, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide
Ingredients in 600g Palm Oil Cube: sodium palmate, aqua, sodium palm kernelate, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxyde – This is a large cube of authentic sustainably sourced palm oil soap.
This soap is vegan and cruelty free!!
It has no added scents, colors, or preservatives.
The traditional Savon de Marseille that we sell comes exclusively from a soap maker that is a member of the union of the professionals of Savon de Marseille. The products are therefore labelled “Savon de Marseille”.
Make sure to let your soap cub dry out between uses to help it last longer!
This soap is wonderful for hand washing dishes but it also has simple ingredients that would be completely safe for body and face wash!

Ok, honestly this olive oil dish soap smells a bit weird but once you use it, there is zero lingering smell and I’ll take a slightly strange natural smell over toxic added fragrance. I am super impressed with how well this block soap suds up. I can’t imagine going back to any other dish soap because this works SO WELL!

I thought it would be hard to use but so amazing and now no bottles. I recommend to everyone. Although, I will say go olive oil though palm oil no no 🙂

I’ve been using my first big olive oil block for 7 months and am not even half way through it. It seems expensive but it lasts a LONG time and saves multiple bottles. It works! I get a bit of water on my brush and dab the block with it to let it soften a bit on top while I arrange a few dishes then scrub my brush on it a bit and go to town.
